Textile artist Estelle Bourdet brings considerable technical knowledge and dedication to her work, merging contemporary and analogue techniques. She is for example reviving the tradition of rag rugs, with a focus in all her pieces on slow production and sustainable resources, including the use of recycled materials. This handmade bag is crafted from a single woven panel. Reflective PP cord and recycled twisted cotton thread are woven into the cotton warp, creating a unique and extremely durable structure. The bag is lined with a cotton pouch. A recycled paragliding cord with carabiner clip offers a way to secure keys or other valuable items. Thanks to the adjustable handle, the bag can be worn either over the shoulder or as a cross-body bag.
The bag is also available in green.
