The question concerning the pictorial evidence of photography is as old as photography itself. The so-called pictorialism movement that oriented photography based on the rules and regulations of painting. A new generation of photographers reflected again on the specific characteristics inherent to photography around 1920. The catalogue presents a special selection of circa 200 masterpieces of New Vision photography between New Objectivity and surrealist tendencies from 1920 to 1950 from the exceptional holdings of the Siegert Collection.
